For several reasons, heat treatment can make a positive contribution to the end product, such as:

• Preheating reduces chemical segregation of cast structures and improves their processability
• Reduced material stress
• Stabilisation of dimensions
• Increasing mechanical properties

MGG has locations where heat treatments can be carried out. The most common heat treatment is T6. However, other heat treatments can also be discussed and implemented.
