Innovation and sustainability

Numerous innovations are reflected in both the production processes and the MGG organisation. MGG's skills come from the companies from which it originated. These have evolved over time and meet a broad spectrum of customer needs that are unique to the casting world. MGG offers production, processing and assembly from a single source and covers various activities such as the series production of heat exchangers and the precise processing and assembly of mechatronic modules. For almost all of our production-related activities, we perform intensive product development processes together with our customers.

We place great value on the quality of our employees in order to guarantee the successful implementation of our strategy. Thanks to our broadly rooted history, we have the knowledge with which we can meet the wishes and needs of our customers. All MGG establishments exchange ideas about development at a structural level. Our cooperation with customers and our contacts with technical universities guarantee that no opportunity is wasted.

MGG has invested in innovative casting processes. Examples of these are: Ductalucast®, LPSC and HDSC. These techniques are seen as the most innovative ways of casting aluminium.

Environment

MGG has drawn up an environmental policy and converted this into specific management objectives that are pursued on a daily basis. MGG companies use NEN ISO 14001-certified environmental management systems or have included these in their objectives. DIN EN ISO 50001 has also recently been implemented in one of our companies. These systems are regularly audited by independent external parties. One of the objectives is to reduce the consumption of energy, water and other raw materials. MGG is actively investing in more efficient equipment to further reduce energy consumption.

Recycling

All MGG production facilities reuse materials and hence contribute to the effective use of resources and thus reduce the environmental impact.

REUSABLE FOUNDRY SAND
The foundry sand used by MGG is cooled, cleaned and mixed so that it can be reused. The furan sand used for manual moulding is recycled so that it can largely be reused. The remaining sand is used as a raw material for making concrete.

REUSABLE ALUMINIUM
Aluminium is a special type of metal. It is strong, light, durable, corrosion-resistant and an excellent electrical conductor. Aluminium is abundant in the earth's crust and can be reused infinitely often without compromising quality.

Employees

The safety and health of our employees are a top priority and are therefore regulated in health and safety management systems. In addition, MGG trains employees in the area of workplace safety and health. The supervision of trainees and on-the-job training are part of our HR policy. MGG actively invests in measures to optimise the working conditions for employees.
