On the 7th of October MGG-Antwerpen opened their doors for the public as part of the Open Company Day 2007, an annual event in Belgium where visitors have the opportunity to visit production facilities which are normally closed for the public.
This day proved to be a huge success as approximately 1800 people visited MGG´s die-casting plant as they where curious to see a modern aluminium foundry in full operation. They were treated to an exclusive view of the process, from a block of aluminium to a finished component, ready to be assembled in what could be your future car.
Beside the tour of the production lines, visitors could inform themselves on the safety and environment measures taken. Further MGG informed potential employees on the many job opportunities available within the company.
